World Tour Finals, Glasgow

What a wild 12 months it’s been! When Adam Bishop stood atop the podium at Britain’s Strongest Man in January 2020 in front of 8,000 roaring fans, nobody could have predicted that would be the last strongman arena show we’d see in 2020. Or that over 12 months later, Bishop’s title would remain unchallenged.

So much has happened since January 2020. We’ve lost loved ones, endured months of lockdowns and had a ‘new normal’ thrust upon us. It’s been tough for everyone, but if there’s one thing us Brits know how to do, it’s come out the other side fighting.

Thanks to the incredible work of men and women across the globe, we’re starting to see some light at the end of this seemingly endless tunnel and that can only mean one thing... it’s time to see the strongest men on planet earth lift some heavy sh*t and reunite the greatest community on earth! It’s time for the return of STRONGMAN!

#1 - THE STRONGMAN CLASSIC, Royal Albert Hall, London - 24 July 2021

Just over a year after we’d originally planned to bring Strongman back to the UK’s most well known and grandest venues, Giants Live is finally coming to London!

Exactly 120 years after the last Strength competition at the Hall, the Great Competition – judged by the one and only Eugen Sandow and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Giants Live brings the 21st century version of Strongman back to where it all started!

Fans will get the chance to step back in time to see the cream of the strongman crop go head to head in 6 old-school events with a modern twist. Stone carries, hercules hold, overhead presses and even a secret surprise event are set to make The Strongman Classic into a spectacular strongman show even the great Eugen Sandow would be proud of.

Not only will the stars of strongman be competing for the money-can’t-buy prize only a few men can win - a golden ticket to compete at the World’s Strongest Man - but they will be standing on the same stage as some of history's greatest performers - one of the most historic and prestigious stages in England!

Tickets are limited for this once in a generation event- only a select few fans will be able to see this historic event live, so book now to avoid disappointment. Tickets are available from Royal Albert Hall box office and Ticketmaster.

#2 - THE WORLD OPEN - AO Arena, Manchester – 14 August 2021

The Giants return to Manchester for the 4th time - this time for the newly created World Open title, alongside the prodigious World Deadlift Championships.

Strongmen from every corner of the globe will be invited to the AO Arena in Manchester to take on 5 gruelling tests of strength, starting with the blue riband event of Strongman: the World Deadlift Championships.

Who can forget that incredible night in 2016 when Eddie Hall turned the world of strongman on its head by becoming the first man in history to deadlift 500kg, breaking his own world record by a mind-blowing 35kg!

The World Deadlift Championships are not all about beating Thor's 501kg max deadlift record- in the 2017 edition fans were treated to a titanic battle between JF Caron and Konstantine Janashia, both reaching 5 reps of 400kg in 60 seconds. We'll be annoucing the format for this years event soon, so keep checking your socials for the annoucement! We’re all primed and ready to witness the next battle for the title of World Deadlift Champion!

When Giants Live last visited Manchester, fans were treated to a stunning performance from Wales’ Ben Brunning. Coming in as a last minute reserve with no time to prepare, the little known Strongman from Bala put the biggest names in Strongman to shame, finishing the night in a scarcely believable 2nd place, one place above 2020 World’s Strongest Man Oleksii Novikov.

2021 is set to be another cracker - you can be assured it’s going to be one hell of a party! Top three finishers will earn a place at World’s Strongest Man - you don’t want to miss this! Tickets are available to buy from Ticketmaster and Eventim.

#3 - EUROPE’S STRONGEST MAN, First Direct Arena, Leeds – 4 September 2021

The most coveted prize in Strongman outside of the World’s Strongest Man title itself returns to Leeds in 2021- Europe’s Strongest Man will once again be crowned in front of the world’s best fans at the First Direct Arena.

Not only will reigning Europe’s Strongest Man, Luke Richardson, get the chance to defend his title as the Strongest Man in Europe, fans might also get the chance to see a new Log Lift World Record at the World Log Lift Challenge.

Big Z has been the king of the log lift for nearly 2 decades, holding the record since 2005 and incrementally pushing it up to the 228kg it stands at today but in 2021, 3 men realistically stand a chance of beating the GOAT’s world record. Iron Biby, Luke Stoltman and Graham Hicks have all been within touching distance of beating Zydrunas Savickas’ record.

Any one of these men could be the current record holder were it not for the nature of lifting in competition- things don’t always go how they went in the gym. There is no doubt that one of these men WILL beat Z’s record, the question is WHEN - and the answer could be 4th September 2021 at the First Direct Arena, Leeds.

After the excitement of the log lift challenge, there’s still another 4 gruelling events for the Giants to battle through to decide who is Europe’s Strongest Man 2021. Top three finishers will earn a place at World’s Strongest Man - can new kid on the block Luke ‘The Future’ Richardson retain his title or will reigning World’s Strongest Man Oleksii Novikov take the title on his first time of asking? There’s only one way to find out- tickets are available from Ticketmaster and Eventim now!

#4 Giants Live USA - September 2021

Giants Live is once again crossing the Atlantic to give the American's a taste of Strongman, Giants Live style!

WSM Superstars Kevin Faires and Evan 'T-Rex' Singleton will be hoping to lay hands on the trophy in 2021- Evan coming out on top last time out but with an incredible showing at World's Strongest Man 2020, Kevin will have a point to prove for sure. More details on ticketing will be published soon, but you can be sure it'll be one to remember!

#5 Arnold Sports Festival UK - NEC, Birmingham - 3 October 2021

Ever since the cult film ‘Pumping Iron’ launched a young Arnold Swarzenegger from sculpted bodybuilder to global superstar, the name Arnold has been inseparably linked to the world of strength sports. Since its foundation in 1989, the Arnold Sports festival has showcased the world’s best talent in Bodybuilding and fitness - and in 2021 the world’s largest health, fitness and multi-sport festival comes to the UK for the first time!

As the cherry on top of this celebration of strength, Giants Live is bringing the greatest Strongman show to the Arnold Sports Festival UK at the NEC, Birmingham.

#6 Britain's Strongest Man - Sheffield Arena, Sheffield – 23 October 2021

Sheffield Arena is fast becoming a yearly pilgrimage for Strongman fans across the UK. Fans from all corners of the country descend upon the northern city to witness the biggest and best of British Strongman go head to head for the most respected and hotly contested national prize on the planet- Britain’s Strongest Man!

With the dubious honour of being the last Strongman arena show in the UK before venues abruptly closed their doors, our British stars are raring to go once again for a shot at glory. By September, Adam Bishop will have reigned as Britain’s Strongest Man for 18 months, the longest the title has been held uncontested since Jimmy Marku won in 2008, with the competition not being held again until 2012.

All eyes will be on the newly full-time strongman- Bish has been a stalwart of the British scene for several years now, consistently qualifying for World’s Strongest Man and winning the British title in 2020 whilst holding down a full time job as S&C coach for Harlequins. Having hung up his rugby boots, Bish will be hoping to step up his performance once more in an attempt to stay ahead of the new kids on the block.

Tom Stoltman proved himself deserving of the hype surrounding him in 2020- finishing 2nd at Britain’s Strongest Man and a mightily impressive 2nd at World’s Strongest Man. The Scotsman showed that he’s putting all the elements together into a consistent package. If he can smooth out those few final bumps in the road, you’d be hard pushed to name anyone that can come close right now. Don’t forget Tom’s brother, Luke, too! A man who is one of the strongest men on the planet but is surely the driving force that keeps pushing the World’s Strongest Brothers - the mighty Stoltmans - further in this incredibly tough sport.

Another Luke to watch for British glory is ‘The Future’, having secured a shock Europe’s Strongest Man win at Allerton Castle in 2020, Luke Richardson is barely a year into full time strongman and is looking to prove that victory wasn’t a one time fluke. At just 23 years of age, Luke Richardson still has a lot to learn about the sport of strongman- but the youngster has already proved himself a formidable prospect for his rivals.

A scintillating battle it is shaping up to be, and we haven’t even mentioned former champ Graham Hicks, the evergreen Mark Felix, Terry Hollands or the possible return of Laurence Shahlaei! With 4 Brits making the final heat of World’s Strongest Man in 2020, British Strongman has never looked so competitive. Which Brits will finish top 3 and earn their place at World’s Strongest Man? Let’s find out! Tickets are available NOW from Ticketmaster and Eventim.

#7 World Tour Finals - SSE Hydro, Glasgow - 2021 *TBC

It wouldn’t be The World’s Strongest Man Arena Tour without WTF! That’s ‘World Tour Finals’ if you were wondering.

Being held for the first time north of the border in Glasgow, Giants are proud to be bringing the World’s Strongest Men to the good people of Scotland. Strongman holds a special place in Scottish culture; the Highland games are often the proving ground for future World’s Strongest Men and our current crop of athletes are no exception. Even our very own Colin Bryce has tossed a caber of two in his time!

There’s only one name that comes to mind when you think of Strongman and Scotland: Stoltman! Brothers Tom and Luke have taken the sport of Strongman by storm, backing up their cheeky nature with some seriously impressive strength and becoming the only brothers ever to qualify for the World’s Strongest Man finals in 2019.

Tom Stoltman, hotly tipped by former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall to become a future World’s Strongest Man himself has been on the form of his life in 2020- narrowly missing out to Adam Bishop at Britain’s Strongest Man and scoring 3 event wins on his way to a stunning 2nd place finish at World’s Strongest Man.

Imagine the absolute SCENES if Tom and Luke can bring it home in front of an arena filled with thousands of fellow Scots shouting their name! They won’t have it easy though- the WTF title has become hot property in Strongman, with Mateusz Kielszkowski taking victory for the last two editions - and he won’t want to relinquish the title any time soon!

Join us for the final show as we finish 2021 in style! We're still working with The SEC, Glasgow to confirm a date for the World Tour Finals and an annoucement will follow shortly with a confirmed date!
