Official Strongman and Giants Live will provide specialist equipment, event delivery support, athlete development pathways, branding, media collaboration, and access to major Giants Live World Tour arena events. The programme also sets out ambitions to deliver live Armed Forces Strongman and Strongwoman competitions in the near future along with developing ideas such as Inter-Forces events and “Invictus-style” Strongman and Strongwoman Games.
Army athletes will benefit from closer alignment with the Official Strongman competitive structure, increased exposure to elite-level events, and opportunities to progress into national and international competition, while maintaining the values and standards of Army Sport.
