LINEUP REVEAL: Europe’s Strongest Man 2021 + Log Lift Challenge

Well, the World’s Strongest Man Qualifying Tour is back in full swing- after two incredible shows at The Royal Albert Hall and Manchester, we’re almost ready to return to the First Direct Arena in Leeds for the single biggest event outside of the World’s Strongest Man finals- Europe’s Strongest Man!

With reigning Europe’s Strongest Man Luke Richardson recovering from a torn Bicep, the door is open for a new Europe’s Strongest Man to be crowned on 4th September in Leeds. Meet this years challengers for the most prestigeous one-day-title on planet earth!

With none of our competitors having won the European title before, we are guaranteed a new champion in Leeds. One hot favourite must be Britain’s Adam Bishop- after narrowly missing out in 2020, he’ll be hoping to become the first man to hold Britain’s and Europe’s Strongest Man title since Jamie Reeves did it over 30 years ago back in 1989.

Another favourite for glory must be Oleksii Novikov of Ukraine- the 2020 World’s Strongest Man started the 2021 tour off as he means to go on, with a victory at The Strongman Classic in London. He came very close to victory in Manchester too and if he stays healthy he’ll be a tough man to beat in Leeds.

There’s been one giant 6 foot 8 inch omission to this point, reigning World’s Strongest Man Tom Stoltman. The man from Invergordon in the Scottish Highlands proved himself right and became the Strongest Man in the World earlier this year in decisive fashion. He sat out the Giants Live World Open in Manchester owing to a hamstring injury- if that’s fully healed in time we could be seeing a historic victory for the Giant Scotsman.

Event 1 of Europe’s Strongest Man 2021 is set to be an absoloute corker- 3 of the best log lifters on the planet are in attendance and will be trying thier best to break Big Z’s long-standing Log Press record of 228kg. Iron Biby, Luke Stoltman and Graham Hicks have all attempted to beat the World Record in the past couple of years and have all come achingly close to lifting a new record. Will the roar of a full-house crowd in Leeds give them the lift they need?
