Giants Live, the global leader in Strongman promotion and home of the Official World’s Strongest Man Arena Tour, are looking to recruit someone highly self motivated with a passion for creating content to join our close-knit media team.
Background:
Giants Live is the largest promoter of Strongman events on the planet, with a current roster of 6 UK based arena shows, a seasonal television series broadcast on Channel 5 and high reach social media channels with views totalling over a billion minutes in 2021.
Main job responsibilities:
- Jointly manage Giants Live social media channels (Tiktok, Snapchat, Instagram, Youtube, Facebook)
- Engage and interact with fans
- Keep up to date with latest trends and latest news in Strongman
- Create short form video content for Tiktok, Instagram reels, Youtube shorts and Snapchat using existing competition content
- Create long form video content for Youtube, Facebook using existing competition content
- Work with the media team to evaluate and create new content ideas for social media
- Create relevant real-time short form content during live events
- Help grow the Giants Live social media subscribers and followers year on year
- Provide input on the overall creative direction of Giants Live
- Create new and amend existing creative for upcoming events to fit different platforms
- Assistance with creative design for print and digital media
Job requirements:
- Strong knowledge of all social media platforms
- An eye for spotting and engaging in emerging trends
- Proficient in use of video editing software (Adobe Premiere/Da Vinci Resolve/Final Cut Pro)
- Proficient in use of image editing software (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Passion for Strongman or similar sports
- Passion for creating interesting content, telling stories and helping build the sport of Strongman
Location:
- Full time position based in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire with possibility to WFH on agreed days
