Yes, Tom is autistic, he was diagnosed at just 5 years of age. It’s something he is proud to speak about in order to inspire other young people with the same condition. Tom has often stated that for his strongman career his autism has been a positive influence, as it has helped him to maintain a focused and single-minded approach to achieving his goals. He has referred to it as his superpower!
