Another Strongman classic, the Log Press or Log Lift. The aim is simple- lift the log off the floor up to your chest and then press it overhead. Easy right? There's a lot more to the Log Press than meets the tricep.

One of the unique challenges of the Log Press is that, unlike a barbell the logs are often slightly unbalanced due to the natural growth of the log and balancing that weight is crucial when you're lifting 220kg+ over head.

The smallest slip can have disasterous consiquences- just ask Eddie Hall about the Log Lift Championships in 2015 where he dropped a 220kg log which very nearly broke his neck.
