The day saw Brian Shaw taking the title ahead of Laurence Shahlaei of the UK with Vytoutas Lalas of Lithuania taking third.

The second Grand Prix at London's prestigious Excel Arena included the following events and athletes:

and events:

  • 1. Last Man Standing Deadlift - World Record is 410kg by kevin nee (Straps allowed, normal bar)
  • 2. Farmers walk - 170kg each hand for 40m
  • 3. Axle - Max
  • 4. Dumbell for reps - with 110 kg
  • 5. Atlas Stones - Finishing on a 210kg
  • 6. Loading - 2 x 130kg barrels and 2 x 110 IRONMIND sacks

The day saw Brian Shaw taking the title ahead of Laurence Shahlaei of the UK with Vytoutas Lalas of Lithuania taking third. Things kicked off in grand style with an assault on the "strongman deadlift world record" and after a lot of big pulls, Brian Shaw and Laurence Shahalaei were left sharing top honors and a new World record at 430 kg. The previous World record was held at 410kg by gerrit badenhorst of South Africa - done in Mauritius at Worlds Strongest Man in 1997
